CHIPPING Sodbury resident Natasha May Marriott has turned her front garden into a big Halloween display to raise funds for the Grand Appeal.
The Creepy Hollow scene took Natasha two weekends to build with the help of husband Joel and friend Bruce Hegley, and is one of the longest-established Halloween displays in the area.

Natasha first started decorating the outside of her home in 2016 but decided to go large five years ago.
She said: “We were stuck in lockdown, so I decided to go all out and get something up for people to see in those tough times.”

Photographer Rich McD who visited the display with members of the Sodbury and Yate Photographic Club, said: “We had a great visit and it’s always good to support Natasha’s fund-raising activities, even if they are a bit scary!”
The annual event runs until November1, with the lights on each day between 4pm and 9pm, and animatronic horrors ready to scare visitors from 6pm-9pm.

Natasha will then turn her attention to organising a Christmas display, which will switch on four weeks later, on November 29 at 5.30pm, and run until next January 5, with the lights on from 4.30-9pm.

She said: “I have Postman Pat’s van and the Grinch!
“I am hoping to raise £1,000 over Halloween and Christmas for the Grand Appeal.
The display is at 18 Frome Road.
Donations can also be made online.
