POLICE are asking customers of a Yate pub if they can help trace a man who carried out an assault.
Officers say the incident happened at The Brimsham Park, in Lark Rise, between 4pm and 6pm on October 20.
An Avon & Somerset police spokesperson said: “We believe the suspect may have been with a group of males at the time.
“CCTV enquiries are being carried out but we hope there may be customers in the pub at the time who saw what happened and can assist our enquiries.
“The victim, who is a man in his 30s, sustained no physical injury but has been left distressed by the incident.”
Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to call 101 or contact them online, quoting the crime reference number 5223 258 333.
