ONE of Britain’s most successful pop acts will headline next year’s Good Times Live festival in Chipping Sodbury.
Organisers say Madness will headline the Saturday night of the festival in 2026, “delivering a show packed with decades of beloved hits and live energy that’s second to none”.
Known for their unmistakable blend of ska, pop, and punk influences – the band has had a string of chart-topping hits since 1979, including Our House, Baggy Trousers, It Must Be Love and One Step Beyond.
Festival Director, James Murden said: “Madness are set to turn the Good Times Live main stage into a full-blown House of Fun on Saturday May 23.
“This is one we’ve been waiting a long time to announce. Madness have been top of our wishlist for years, and we’re beyond excited to finally welcome them to Good Times Live.
“Madness are the biggest act we’ve ever had and I’m so excited to bring them to Chipping Sodbury. My Dad was always playing their music as I grew up in the 80’s so it’s an extra special show for me.”
Used to selling-out large arena shows, organisers expect tickets for their appearance at Good Times Live to sell fast.
Production Manager Tom Campbell said: “The production is so big, we’re upgrading our stage to make it even bigger.
“Get ready, Chipping Sodbury – Madness are bringing a huge show to our little town!”
Alongside Madness, Good Times Live 2026 will also feature Emeli Sandé and Russell Howard.
Tickets are on sale now at goodtimeslive.co.uk.
